Angela Albertini

Small business owner and operator (Chris Albertini Automotive)

Angela was born in Lismore and has spent her life living and working in the Lismore area. For the last 27 years she has run a very successful automotive workshop, ‘Chris Albertini Automotive’, which she owns and operates together with her husband Chris.

The business has provided many employment and apprenticeship training opportunities for locals over the years - one of their apprentices has even competed in the WorldSkills Competition (trade Olympics). The business has won “Most Outstanding Business” in the Lismore Business Awards, and has earned many training and industry awards over the years.

Prior to this, Angela worked for legal firms in Lismore. During that time she undertook studies in Human Resource Management and then obtained employment in the Human Resources Office at Southern Cross University. Angela left Southern Cross University to manage the automotive business in 1996.

Angela grew up as part of a large family on a banana/cattle farm near Nimbin and has a particular fondness for our rural areas. She understands the needs of small businesses as well as the farming community.

Through her business, Angela is a proud sponsor of local sporting teams, including Lismore Rugby Club, Lismore Touch Association, Thistles FC, Hockey NSW as well as St Vincents Palliative Care, Westpac Rescue Helicopter, Lions Club, and local schools and community events.

I am proud to have Angela on our team, together we will get Lismore back on track.
